1. Contractual Agreement

By accessing and using www.quizapp.co.uk or the QuizApp mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These platforms are operated under license from QuizApp Ltd (United Kingdom). If you do not agree, you must cease use of our services immediately. Please note that your participation in specific live events is also subject to our separate Conditions of Participation, which govern competition rules and prize redemption.

 

2. Intellectual Property (IP) Protection

  • Ownership: All content included on these platforms—including but not limited to quiz questions, scoring algorithms, software, graphics, logos, and button icons—is the exclusive property of QuizApp Ltd or its licensors and is protected by international copyright laws.

  • Limited License: We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access our content for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

  • Prohibitions: You are strictly prohibited from modifying, publishing, transmitting, participating in the transfer or sale of, or reproducing any of our content, in whole or in part, without prior written consent.

 

3. Geographic Limitation & Prizes

  • Territory: All competitions, leaderboards, and prizes are strictly limited to the United Kingdom.

  • Redemption: Prizes and vouchers can only be won and redeemed by participants physically present at an authorized participating venue within the UK during a live event.

  • No Export: We do not facilitate the shipping, transfer, or redemption of prizes or vouchers to any location outside of the United Kingdom.

 

4. User Conduct & Security

  • Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and for all activities that occur under their profile.

  • Prohibited Use: You may not use the site or app in any manner that could damage, disable, or overburden the technical infrastructure managed by QuizApp Ltd.

  • Cheating: Any attempt to manipulate the leaderboard or scoring windows via technical means is a breach of these terms and will result in an immediate ban.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

  • "As Is" Basis: The website and app are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

  • Technical Failures: QuizApp Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from technical malfunctions, internet outages, mobile connection drops, or the accuracy of third-party venue content.

  • Third-Party Links: We are not responsible for the conduct or content of third-party websites or venues linked to our platforms.

 

6. Termination

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate your access to our platforms and the related services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, participating venues, or our business interests.
